Day one’ evening session commenced with

Buddhist

Mandala offering chanting by

Drepung Gomang

Monastery from Karnataka. With a soothing start, the chanting was followed by an

Odissi

recital by MAHAGAMI’s ensemble. They presented Nirghoshah - as they revived the lost tradition of synthesising taal with chhand, pada and anga vinyaas. This was followed by Pratibimb, a reflection, introspection, and an inward meditative journey is different layers of the same idea and ended with a Sanskrit mantra.
