A drama festival hosted by the Department of Dramatics of Saraswati Bhuvan College of Arts and Commerce, was a treat for the city’s theatre enthusiasts. The plays that were staged revolved around issues like politics, problems in rural areas, government schemes, social issues and smuggling to name a few. A play titled Avaghad Jagecha Dukhana, based on the issue of villagers being exploited by money lenders, was staged on the first day.
Another play Khali Dok War Pay based on politics captivated the audience.
Plays like Paishala Anek Wata and Uthata Lat Basta Bukki were also appreciated. Those spotted at the event included Dr Sudhir Rasal, Kamal Vishawas Salunke, Kishor Shirsath and Dr Ashok Bhalerao.
