Mesmerising performance put forth by Kathak and Odissi dancers

The recently held Sadhana Gurukul’s camp received an overwhelming response from both participants and audience as they presented various talents before the audience. The city’s famous dance academy depicted various demonstrations through Odissi and Kathak. Dressed in uniformity, they commenced with invocation to devi in Odissi dance form. Yato-Hasto was performed in Kathak, Thumari presentation in Kathak, Kirvani Pallavi in Odissi and much more were in store at the program.After a month’s training in Gurukul, their hard work bore fruit with this function. The audience were enthralled with the way they showcased their postures and mudras though the dance forms and the expressions were worth capturing. Not only elders, young girls mastered the art in a month’s time and performed in sync with other senior artists. It was a visual treat for the audience at the auditorium that evening.
