A literary do

This do saw the city’s lovers of literature gather round for a very special book launch.
Bunny Suraiya’s period piece, Calcutta Exile, took center stage, over an interactive discussion between the author and Anita Nair, the evening’s special guest, at the ITC Gardenia. Due to popular demand, Jug Suraiya was invited up on stage to release the book, which he did to much applause and cheering.
Anil Chadha, Area and General Manager ITC Gardenia, introduced the event to the elite crowd gathered there, while they enjoyed the appetizers and beverages that did the rounds. BT spotted Atul Bhalla, General Manager ITC Windsor, Patrick Wilson, Susan Fernandez, Abhay Kewadkar, Ritu Mallya and Manjusha Maheshwari among the other avid book lovers at this intimate do.
