Actress Sanchita Shetty at Mercedes event in Bangalore

Mercedes-Benz, which has been lauded as the most awarded luxury car brand in India, decided to celebrate the fact that it won 16 awards last year – more than any other luxury car brand in the country. In order to have a grand celebration across India, the company started a golden car convoy of the award-winning cars: A-Class, B-Class, E-Class and GL-Class.This convoy is covering 23 cities in a span of 45 days, marking a celebration event at every place.
To commemorate the occasion, the company organized special celebration events at both its dealerships in Bangalore – Sundaram Motors and Akshaya Motors. At the former, the golden convoy was unveiled by Dr Shyam, managing director, and Avinash, Executive Director, Akshaya Motors; the cars were unveiled by K Seshagopalan, Business Head at the latter venue.
The events were attended by the who’s who of the city. Among the guests at Akshaya Motors were actress Sanchita Shetty, SM Deshpande and Greg Moran.
