This is the season for cakemixing. So Bangalore’s foodies — led by Corporate Pastry Chef at the Leela Palace, Chef Avijit Ghosh — rolled up their sleeves and got into the mix, so to speak. The afternoon kick-started with the guests being welcomed by the hotel’s general manager, Andrew Hendrian, and chef Ghosh. The guests then dressed up as chefs — complete with aprons, chef caps and gloves — and proceeded to mix the fruits in rum, whiskey and cognac.
And once that was done, everyone sat back to enjoy the high tea
spread together.
