First hailstorm of the season takes Bengaluru by surprise

Surprised, excited, tensed… the citizens of Bengaluru experienced a myriad of emotions after the city witnessed heavy rains, accompanied by a hailstorm,
on Sunday evening. Though the rains brought in much-needed respite from the heat, some were worried about it affecting the IPL match. However, concerns such as these paled in comparison as the city witnessed much destruction and even a death.
