Premiere of 'Hookers' in Bangalore

Saturday evening saw the premiere of Chippy Gangjee’s latest play Hookers at the ITC Royal Gardenia.
The hotel’s plush Mysore Hall was packed with those who had come to cheer Chippy and guess the killer in the whodunnit. Dr Thomas Chandy was there, as well as Arif and Naheed Wazirally, who won a bottle of wine for guessing the killer.
Nirad and Deepa Muthanna and Manjul Gupta with daughter Swati and daughter-in-law Miki were also present.Abhay Kewadkar sat right in the front and watched the play intently, as did Donna Lethborg and Manjusha Maheshwari, who was glad to have an evening out with friends.
The play was applauded for its nail-biting suspense and performances by Sajai Vir Singh, Karthik Kumar and the rest.
