Sushruthi Krishna celebrates May Day in Mysuru

2016 1st Runner-up, was recently felicitated in Mysuru, where she was attending the inaugural function of May Day celebrations on the premises of Mahajana College, at Jayalakshmipuram.The event was organized by the Mysuru centre of Builders Association of India (BAI), in association with Mysore Builders Trust and Spoorthi -the Ladies Wing of BAI (Mysuru).

Speaking at the event, Sushruthi said, “I was born in this beautiful

heritage city

, my grandparents still live here. As a kid, I used to spend my summer vacations here. It's thrilling to visit the place after winning the title. I congratulate BAI for enrolling 1,000 labourers to the Labour Department's welfare scheme.“

As a token of appreciation, the

beauty queen

was presented a replica of the Mysore Palace by the Chairman of BAI, Mysuru Centre, N Subramanya.
