An evening of poetry and shayari with Chai

An open mike recently organised in the city at Chai Kaapi café brought together the young artists of the city together. The youngsters who were mostly from college read their compositions from their notebooks and mobile phones. These platforms help aspiring artists present their work in front of an audience and get a review. Right from poetry, music, comedy gigs to short stories, the audience was very eager to listen to the pieces. Every artist was given a time limit of five minutes in which he/she had to wrap the entire performance. But the enthusiastic participants made the most out these five minutes as the audience couldn’t stop appreciating through claps and cheers.
