Drone technology can only be mastered by practicing

The Cyber Club of BSSS under the Department of Computer Applications organized a two day workshop on “Drone Development” . In the Inaugural session Dr. Sr. Lissy Jose, Vice Principal, BSSS, emphasized on the importance of learning by doing. She wished that the workshop would give a thorough understanding of the Drone Technology to all the participants.Technical expert Yashraj Sunhare from Jarvis Labs was the instructor and Kretika Tiwari was the faculty co-ordinator of this workshop. Around 24 students of various Departments of BSSS participated in this workshop. The students learnt about the theoretical aspects of types of drones, motor rotation, torque and sensor types. They were further introduced to the components of drone such as frames, motors, ESCs, propellers, connectors, batteries, mounting pad, controllers etc.
