Raahigiri Day celebrated at Shahpura in Bhopal

You could either complain about how cold the weather is getting, or you could come and get warmed up on Sunday mornings at Raahgiri.
Raahgiri Day this Sunday definitely upped the coolness quotient for the Bhopalites. From power-packed zumba dance moves and yoga, to street plays, it turned out to be a fun-filled Sunday morning for Raahgirs. While zumba remained the main attraction of the event like every week’s Raahgiri, several other activities like nukkadnaatak also interested Raahgirs.
The new Shahpura venue continues to fetch more people at the event, with many first-timers to Raahgiri. “The event has been going around for many weeks in the city, but this is the first time I came here and it was great. I loved exercising and zumba dancing on the streets of Bhopal,” said Sanchay Modi, a student.
However, there are many who still like the Boat Club venue better. Vishal, a businessman, said, “This is the first time I visited the Shahpura Lake venue and I liked it. But I think the activities at the Boat Club Raahgiri are more exciting. I hope the new venue too catches up soon.”
