Actress Parvathy Omnakuttan graced the launch of Audi's first luxury A3 Sedan at Nandanam showroom in Chennai

One of the leading luxury car manufacturers, Audi, launched its first luxury A3 Sedan recently in the city amidst an elite presence. Compact, sporty and progressive, the the car has been awarded ‘World Car of the Year 2014’. The car was unveiled by K Subramanian, CEO Audi Chennai and Bangaluru, actress Parvathy Omnakuttan, and racer Aditya Patel Speaking to us on the occasion about the car, Subramaniam said, “This car is big on performance and has a lot of unique features.It is the first car that offers 425 liters boot space. It is equipped with cylinder-on-demand technology and also offers a comprehensive range of infotainment modules.”
Available in two engine options — Diesel 35 TDI and Petrol 40 TFSI — with direct injection and turbocharging, the Audi A3 sedan is powered by S tronic (R) dual-clutch transmission to deliver uninterrupted power, torque and enhance fuel efficiency (20.38 kmpl on the A3 35 TDI). It accelerates 0 to 100 kmph in 7.3 seconds (40 TFSI) and 8.6 seconds (35 TDI).
