It was a cocktail of colours and cuts at the fashion walk where Nisha JamVwal showcased her latest designs.
The maverick designer came out with a stunning collection created for the ‘global Madras woman with traditional roots’ — clothes that are affordable and uber cool. With her signature style of flowing feminine fabrics and colours, she wooed the fashionistas with vibrant hues, cutting-edge summer chiffon sarongs, flamboyant couture gowns, party wrap around skirts and evening sequin saris.
Pretty models scorched the ramp, sashaying down with select pieces from each of Nisha’s famed collections too. For those who missed it this time, the good news is that the designer will be back in the city shortly with her ‘Cryptic’ collection. With sparkling drinks doing the rounds, the evening turned out to be one high on glam, style and spirits.
