A 10- day long Red Fort Festival-Bharat Bhagya Vidhata has been organised at the Red Fort. On Friday,
Smriti Zubin Irani, Union Minister of Women and Child Development, inaugurated the festival. She said, “Red Fort is not just a monument but a living example, which makes the nation realise its resolve, promise, and its responsibility towards the Constitution.”

Speaking on the occasion, Puneet Dalmia, said, “We’ve tried to highlight beautiful aspects of our country during this festival.”
On Friday, Prince Dance Group from Orissa and
Shaan performed at the event.
The line-up also includes Raghu Dixit, Nizami Brothers and Papon among other renowned singers and bands. A joint collaboration with the Ministry of Culture celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the festival also features Matrubhumi, a projection mapping show, Yatra-360° immersive experience, cultural parade and events and programmes showcasing diversity in arts and cuisine.

Rakesh Asthana, Delhi Police Commissioner, and Govind Mohan, Secretary, Ministry of Culture also attended the evening. The festival will conclude on April 3.
