The subject of conversation at this art do was love, because that was the theme of the exhibition.
Said curator Bhavna Kakar, “Love is a tender compassion that contentedly gives of itself, as though from an inexhaustible vessel of selfishness.” Deep, we thought! Manjunath Kamath, one of the artists whose work was on display, said of his intriguing Anna topi painting (see picture), “This painting was done just a few days ago, and instead of ‘Main Anna hoon’, I wrote ‘Main kaun hoon?’”
