The usually slow-paced Sunday morning at Sunder Nursery’s The Bazaar transformed into a folksy and vibrant celebration as Hariyali Teej festivities took centre stage. Swinging on the marigold-laden jhoolas and gorging on ghewar and other monsoon specials, Delhiites revelled in pre-Teej cheer. We experienced a December-like Sunday in terms of the footfall in the month of July. Overall, the vibe was playful, rooted in traditions and celebrations.”“With flowers hanging from trees and decorated in urlis, it felt like I had arrived for an eco-friendly wedding. The event felt warm and inviting. My son Edi was excited to get mehendi, and everyone admired it too,” says Pia Sukanya, an attendee. Another participant, Anju Kalhan, says, “The whole vibe of the farmer’s market elevated to a celebratory one.
