Jugalbandi, Khan style
Delhi & Mumbai’s glitterati came together to wish the newly-wed couple, Ayaan and Neema, at their reception in the city.
Neema looked pretty in an off-white and gold silk saree.
The groom was over the moon. ���It feels great. I���m thankful for all the good wishes that I���ve got on my wedding and I���m really happy that Neema is with me finally,��� said Ayaan.
And how does Neema feel? ���I���m looking forward to married life and living in Delhi now,��� she said. Also, how does it feel to have one of the most down-to-earth guys as her hubby? ���I feel really fortunate. I���m thankful for everything and to everybody who has wished us on this day,��� she added.
And Neema���s bro Karan, whom we saw in Dil Jo Bhi Kahe with Big B playing his dad, had this to say, ���I���m happy. Everybody���s asking me about my wedding and I���m just asking them to let me be.���
The bride���s father Romesh Sharma along with his wife Sujata and sons Karan and Nakul met all the guests personally along with Khan saab and Subbulakshmi. And what a guest list it was! Politicians were represented by Arun Jaitley, Somnath Chatterjee, Anand Sharma, Mani Shankar Aiyar, Ram Vilas Paswan and Ravi Shankar Prasad. Delhi crowd included Romi & Kapil Dev, Shalini and Sanjay Passi, Devi and Dilip Cherian, Meera and Muzaffar Ali, Riddhima and Bharat Sahni, Rohit Rajpal, Rohit Bal, Rohit Gandhi, Natasha Nanda, Kaushalya and Raja Reddy, Manav Gangwani, Sabina and AD Singh, Nikhil and Shantanu, Puja Nayyar, Varun Bahl, Kamal Modi, Ritu and Shashi Kumar among others.
Art frat was led by Pt Ravi Shankar along with his daughter Anoushka, Sonali and Roop Kumar Rathod, Sajan and Rajan Mishra and Jatin Das. Sunil Mittal, Rajan Mittal and Rahul Bose were other noteworthies present there. All in all, a tasteful event done just the classic Khan way!
