There’s nothing Delhiites love more than getting pampered, and the new Worship Salon and Gentlemen’s Tonic India is here to do just that. At the launch of the salon and spa in DLF Emporio, Vasant Kunj, we caught up with the co-founders, Rakshay Dhariwal (founder, Worship Salon) and Olivier Bonnefoy (founder, Gentlemen’s Tonic), who’ve come together to bring this unique offering to India.

Besides endless chatter, there were cocktails and canapés, courtesy PCO (winner of the Times Food Awards – Best Bar – Luxury). Worship is the first-of-its kind standalone luxury salon and spa, founded by Rakshay, the mind behind PCO and Kerala Ayurveda – Delhi.
Taking the salon experience a step further, ‘Worship, featuring you’ is the celebration of the raw glamour in each woman. Rakshay made sure his guests got a detailed tour of the place, and told us, “It’s a great location, a great concept, and I’m quite excited to show everyone around.”
Gentlemen’s Tonic is a renowned men’s only brand that is in the business of providing ‘self-confidence for gentlemen’. Founded by Bonnefoy in 2004, with a presence in London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Moscow, the brand has hit the Indian market with a luxury refuge where clients can sit back, relax, and enjoy their private haircutting stations and treatment rooms along with access to the Internet, TVs, iPads and a range of newspapers and magazines. Bonnefoy told us, “Indian men are the vainest on the planet, because since their childhood, it’s always been about them. They’re always taken care of. So we think this is really going to work for Delhi men.” He added, “Gentlemen’s Tonic has been an established unit in London for almost 10 years. In these 10 years, the Indian market has been 25% of this business. Hence, India is only a natural progression as it is a highly dynamic, exciting market.” One of Worship’s USPs is the ‘7 Sinfully You Signature Styles’, which’ve been inspired by the seven Biblical sins. The launch was also designed along these lines, with seven-minute makeovers and seven signature cocktails. As expected, the guests were not complaining with all the pampering they got.
The salon is open from 11am to 10pm and is located at DLF Emporio, Vasant Kunj.
