Not just a song and dance: While the high point of most Delhi dos are dancing and loud music, the recent launch of Social in Hauz Khas was all about interactions – getting social offline. Besides regulars from the party circuit, the event was attended by members of start-ups, artistes and bloggers from the city, all of whom will soon be working out of this collaborative workspace.
new concept: The hosts, Siddharth Mathur and Riyaaz Amlani, took guests on a tour of the space, and explained that the workspace/cafe/bar hybrid format aimed to address the need of pacesetters, starting a new trend in the hospitality industry. Riyaaz, CEO and MD, Impresario Handmade Restaurants, said, “Coffee shops and cafes have been projected as your ‘third place’, a place away from home and your work/college. With Social, for the very first time in restaurant history, we have introduced the Second Place concept, a place where you can both work and play.”
