Aam for aam Aadmi at affordable rates
Markets in Margao are buzzing with excitement as the rates of the king of fruits have reduced drastically. With a variety of mangoes from neighbouirng states have made its way into the market, like the Badami, Pyari, Lalbagh among others, there is a wide range of mangoes to buy from and now affordable for the aam admi. A month earlier, the Mancurad mangoes were sold at a whooping rate of `6,000 a dozen, now they are sold at `1,500-2,000 a dozen, however the Totapuri mangoes range from `200-250 per kg, while Alphonso mangoes are selling for `600 per kg.
