An evening of carols and hymns to usher in the Christmas spirit

Ravindra Bharathi reverberated with hymns and Christmas carols on Thursday evening as a group of singers and instrumentalists came together to usher in the festive season. These singers, from different faiths and all walks of life, belted out cheery carols and X’mas songs in English, Malayalam, Bhojpuri as the guests tapped their feet and hummed along.
Festive fervour ran high as the choir broke into Christmas favourites like Joy to the World and Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. While the kids were dressed in red frocks and bow-ties, the adults donned red and yellow sarees, in lieu with the Christmas spirit.
