Foodies enjoy Awadhi food festival

A star hotel in the city saw a huge turnout of food lovers at an Awadhi food festival hosted at one of their restaurants.
Yummy kebabs, biryani, naans and a lot more was a part of the elaborate menu. Chef Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, a descendent of the khansamas of the Wajid Ali Shah era, was specially flown in from Lucknow. While yummy, authentic food pleased the tastebuds, Sultan Mohammed Mirza's beautiful ghazals were a feast for the ears.Connoisseurs of food including Nawab Bashir Yar Jung, Begum Naheed, Begum Sherwani, Mohammad And Seema Alam Khan, Sherry Zaveri, Zia Mobashir, Arshad and Nikhat Khan were seen enjoying the delicacies, while Aseem and Neetu Verma played the perfect hosts.
