Shaheed Swabhimaan Yatra reaches Hyderabad

After a journey of 33 days, the “Shaheed Swabhimaan Yatra” reached Hyderabad. Taken out with the aim of creating consciousness in the people of the country towards the martyrs, the yatra aims to cover all 29 states of the country. The yatra reached Artillery Centre, in Hyderabad from Chennai and to commemorate the martyrs of the nation, a wreath laying ceremony was held at the War Memorial of Artillery Center at Golconda The yatra, which has completed over 30 days, had started from India Gate, New Delhi on Shaheed Bhagat Singh Diwas, 23 Mar 2018 and has covered Jaipur, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Nasik, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai. Onwards from, Hyderabad, the yatra will further move to Nagpur, Ranchi and then North Eastern states of the country and will finish on 24th June after covering a distance of 15000 km While travelling across the states, the ex-servicemen are also attempting to compile data regarding Ex-servicemen and martyrs at national level in order to request government for improvement of livelihood.
