Telangana artistes enjoy a night out

The launch bash of TAA (Telangana Artists association) held recently at a city hotel was a glitzy affair, which drew a large number of showbiz artistes, fashion designers, writers, bloggers, poets, musicians, dancers and other performers to the venue. The event kick-started with an art exhibition by 27 talented artists on the theme ‘The Quest of Delight’.This was followed by an innovative mime act directed by Danish Khan and a live painting session by Koeli Mukerjee Ghosh, enthralling the art connoisseurs in the city. Up next were a monologue by Anushkha Ghose and a Kuchipudi recital by Vaishnavi Lanka, followed by a fashion show. The evening ended with a sufi music performance by Ethasham Zain Quadri. Deputy CM of Telangana Md Mohamood Ali and Uttam Kumar Reddy were present to support and encourage the artiste community of the state.
