Theatre enthusiasts and youngsters flocked to Harold Pinters’ “The Caretaker” that was staged on the last day of the Samahaara Theater and Rock Music Festival.
The play took the audience through a two-hour long story about a homeless man Davies, who is brought to the dilapidated apartment of Aston and his brother Mick. Davies, who is offered a job of a caretaker, starts treating the apartment like his own, which later raises tension between both the brothers and him.

Krishna Shukla, who plays Davies, got lost in trying to keep up with his role. Rahul Premchander, who played Mick, gave a wonderful performance and Tavish Bhattacharyya, who played Aston, ruled the stage with his dialogue delivery, expressions and characterization of an autistic person.
