This Jagjit Singh tribute night was a treat for city’s ghazal lovers

On a balmy summer evening, the Alam Khan residence, Maimanath Manzil, began to bustle with guests. It was a special occasion, especially for the the city’s Ghazal lovers and culture enthusiasts as a screening of Kaagaz Ki Kashti — a film on Jagjit Singh’s life and music, was to be held here.
As the guests caught up with each other, the filmmakers Brahmanand S Siingh and Tanvi Jain were seen chatting up those who had come down to see the film.Meanwhile, the entire Alam Khan family ensured that all the guests were comfortable and ready for the screening. After the movie ended, the guests were seen indulging in conversations over the lesser-known facets of Jagjit Singh before calling it a night.
