Malhari hues at Holkar Mahotsav

The on-going Yashwant Rao Holkar Mahotsav at Lal Bagh Palace saw hues of Marathi culture on Tuesday as participants gathered on the stage to perform Lavani, Malhari and Gondhal dance. The artistes from Vibhuti Kala Kendra revived the Holkar Era on the stage in a performance that lasted for an hour. As part of the performance the artistes also performed Puja of deity Khandoba.The Mahotsav which is being organised by Ma Pitambara Jann Seva Samiti is also a haven for handicraft and handloom items. Visitors have been frequenting the Mahotsav for shopping and having a great time with family as the flea market and ride zone is keeping them engaged.
