Under the Fortnightly Theatre Scheme of Jawahar Kala Kendra, play ‘Adhantar’ was presented at Rangayan. The play has been written by Jayant Panwar and has been translated to Hindi by Kailash Sengar.

Vishal Chaudhary, the play is a political satire. It showcases the life of a family facing economic compulsions due to the shutting down of a mill in Mumbai.
Due to not following the right path the family faces economic compulsions and unemployment turning their relationship sour. The mills are shut down for the benefit of a few politicians, miscreants, and people associated with estate business. The benefit of a few is a detriment to the many workers working in these mills. The pain of these workers is suppressed by influential people through journalists and police.
The play portrays the current situation of the country which is fearful towards the unemployed, poor and unarmed. The play showcases that although the political power changes every five years, the people and their motives remain the same. The main focus behind this realistic style of play is to introduce the actors to a new style of theater.
The cast of the play was -- Mohit Bhat, Lavina, Alok, Vikram, Abhishek, Shanya, Ramgopal and Sandeep Mishra, The lighting was managed by Rajeev Mishra and makeup by Aslam Pathan. Vijay, Keshav, Kamlesh, Om, Jai, Brijesh and Vimal Meena managed the backstage during the play.
