on Acrylic Mandala brought together a blend of both these artforms. Rajasthan Studio invited Shreya Gupta for this extremely therapeutic session of acrylic mandala painting. She is a self taught professional artist from Bangalore. She has a great passion for art and practises different forms of art like - mandala, sketching, painting, resin art, zentangle, clay art, home decor etc.


In The Circle Experience by Rajasthan Studio, Shreya Gupta taught the beautiful art of drawing a mandala with acrylic colours using dot painting technique. In this technique a mandala is painted just by drawing colourful dots on the canvas using a dotting tool or any other round object like a toothpick or the back of a brush/pencil. All our eighty attendees were enthusiastic about learning this technique. Despite having limited time, all the participants learnt the technique of acrylic mandala painting very fast and came up with wonderful creations of their own. "Such kind of art can be relaxing and very therapeutic." said Shreya Gupta.


The attendees had various queries about the kind of dotting tools which can be used for this kind of art. All their queries were spontaneously answered by Shreya, who also suggested some tips which should be kept in mind while doing this kind of painting. “While drawing the dots, one should keep in mind that the dots should be equally distant from each other so that they do not overlap each other and easily form beautiful patterns” said she while teaching the attendees.
