Celebs at a star-studded event

Xaverians from across the world came together in Singapore recently to bond beyond boundaries. The international convention of St Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association — Beyond Boundaries III — turned out to be a star-studded event.
While Jaya Seal Ghosh enthralled all with her dance recital, the jam session by Usha Uthup and Bickram Ghosh saw Arindam Sil and Nusrat Jahan double as emcees.
“This is a good opportunity for Xaverians to come under one roof and strengthen their bond,” said Father Felix Raj, principal of the college.
Arindam, who was present at the do, said, “Going out with friends and family in the middle of the night to gorge on street food was delightful. I also met a dear friend from college after 25 long years! He was my role model for being an actor and debater. Ironically, I became an actor and he a banker.”
