Christmas Eve at The Basement, Hotel Samilton, this year was much more than just another party.
With city-based DJ Diddy spinning chartbusters such as “Sheila ki jawani”, the crowd danced happily all through the night.
Interestingly, it was Indian dance moves, such as thumkas and jhatkas that seemed to be a craze among revellers at this venue. But what seemed to amuse the party-goers the most at the venue was perhaps the live Santa Claus who matched steps with them in songs like “Aal izz well”.DJ Diddy said, “The best part about spinning on special occasions is that the party-goers are more committed to party hard on such days and appreciate good numbers. “Jingle Bells” mix still seems to be most popular with people here though.” Laser lights and exotic dancers added to the revellers’ pleasure that evening.
