Even though it was a weekday , the turnout at the last race of the season for the President's Cup was impressive, with a lot of army men attending the event with their spouses. The chief guest for the after noon was Lt Gen V Ravi Shankar. Madhuri Halwasiya, who made a late entry at the do was spotted having a long conversation with Jyotsana Habibullah, while the latter's hubby Amar was seen tending to his horses.
Senior advocate Prashant Chandra, coming straight from court in his uniform, made sure he was present at the event, even if a tad late. Also present there was Yasmin Ahmad, who happens to be Bollywood writer
Javed Akhtar's cousin.
TWO MUCH FUN: The two races one of Indian-bred horses and the other of thoroughbreds, were won by Grey Goose and Super Duper, resepctively . The prizes were given away by Maj Gen RS Malave.
MORE TO COME: The stylishly i dressed spectators had something in store for them too. While the title of the Best Dressed Lady was won by Chand ni Rastogi, Brig Rajesh Kundra was adjudged the Best Dressed Gentleman that afternoon.
