Dharmendra spells his love for cinema through urdu poetry

Mumbai-based Carnival Group, which has interests in the hospitality, media and entertainment fields, recently acquired HDIL’S Broadway Cinemas multiplex chain and relaunched it as Carnival Cinemas. The announcement was made at a glitzy do, attended by Carnival Group’s chairman Shrikant Bhasi and CEO PV Sunil along with Manasi Verma, Sanjeev Sharma, Manish Chaudhary and Baba Sehgal.In fact, Dharam added to the evening as he recited some urdu poetry on his love for the silver screen.
Revealing his new strategy called ‘Vision 300’, Bhasi said, “Our focus is to provide quality movie watching experience to the audience and we plan to have 300 screens in phase 1.” Added Sunil, “We’ve have already established our brands in movie production, distribution and exhibition along with food courts, events, equipment rentals as well as a music label.”
