Kanwar Diler, Jasmine's starry reception

If Hotel Ashok’s convention hall reverberated with beats of the latest Bollywood chartbusters “Munni” and “Sheila”, Sandhu Farms near Chandigarh too saw big-time entertainment unfold on Monday night.
Both the places played host to big fat Indian weddings with a gamut of Bollywood A-listers descending on the receptions.
While the wedding reception of Congress leader Kanwar Singh Tanwar’s son saw an expenditure of `250 crore, the reception of Punjab PWD minister Parminder Dhindsa’s brother-in-law Kanwar Diler Singh Sandhu too created a huge stir, with the budget ending in loads of crores.Laced with a high dose of glam, the do at the farmhouse was mesmerising.
Tanwar’s reception got all applauding the performances of Malaika Arora Khan, Zarine Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes, while Sandhu’s reception was with its share of star power too – it saw Sameera Reddy, Katrina Kaif and Malaika perform live. Actors like Dharmendra, Ranjeet and Dara Singh graced the occasion.
The event had a heavy presence of politicians, including Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal. The grand ceremony that opened with crackling fireworks turned lively as the actresses performed. The reception continued
