The annual awards for excellence in the game took place at a SoBo five-star at the close of the weekend, and a number of cricketers from the Indian and Sri Lankan teams were present. And then there was Mallika Sherawat’s dance act which added the Bollywood entertainment quotient.

Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag mingled with the Sri Lankan teammates Ajantha Mendis and Kumar Sangakkara; it was nice to see them congratulating one another on their accolades.
