The second edition of the pan India “Meri Poshtik Rasoi’ cooking contest aimed at discovering
nutrition
rich traditional and local recipes from the Indian kitchen saw over 700 participants from 22 states and 100 cities signing up for the contest and sharing recipes for a healthier India.
The contestants participated in 3 categories - NGOs working in the space of maternal and child health, Students/ Professionals related to nutrition or hospitality and anybody who has a personal interest in nutrition. The jury comprised of Brinelle D’souza, Rushina Munshaw-Ghildiyal, Chef Yogesh Utekar and celebrity

who selected the winners from 15 finalists, coming from diverse locations such as Bareilly, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Pakur.
Winners of the three categories were - Padam Kumar Jain from the NGO category who made Dal Paniya, a traditional dish from the tribal area of Malva, MP, and Gujarat; Abinas Nayak from the Individual category who made Khira Madia Santula, a signature dish of Odia cuisine; and Kalaivani D from the Professionals category who made Enippu Vendaya, a sweet fenugreek porridge.
