Reliving the Mukesh magic

Nitin Mukesh sung some of his father’s all time hit songs much to the delight of the audience
Reliving the Mukesh magic
On the Christmas night, the youngest piano maestro Abhay Goyle and Bollywood playback singer Nitin Mukesh performed a jugalbandi and entertained the Delhi audience with their spectacular live performance on the stage.
The occasion was a tribute to the golden voice of Hindi cinema — Mukesh. The celebration also witnessed the presence of his son Nitin Mukesh.

However, Nitin Mukesh’s son and Bollywood actor Neil Mukesh was to be present at the function but couldn’t make it at the last moment.
Nitin Mukesh informed us, “My son Neil was supposed to be here at the function, unfortunately, he had to attend some other function for which couldn’t make it to Delhi at the last moment.” The little master Abhay’s tunes on piano made every one tap their foot with him. He played songs like “Ek Pyar ka Nagma,” “Mera Joota hai Japani” and many more.
Nitin Mukesh was mesmerized with the young artist's performance and said, “For the first time I’m feeling nervous performing with such a young talented artist. It is touching to see a little boy playing songs of 60’s so fluently, especially on my father's popular song numbers. We are doing it without any rehearsal. I have done it many times but for a kid like Abhay to play with me without any rehearsal is something rare; really this kid is blessed, he is keeping pace with me so perfectly on songs.”
Crowds gathered in the hall were seen cheering and clapping to the throbbing music. The atmosphere changed as soon as Nitin Mukesh started singing some of his father’s popular songs like “Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan” and “Dam Dam diga diga” and other evergreen hits.
