Rendezvous with Archer

A friend with Chaya Momaya (TOI photo)Mumbai got a taste of the ���write��� stuff when author Lord Jeffery Archer was invited over to dinner at Usha Agarwal���s expansive place at Cuffe Parade.
It was easy to see why Archer is as famous as he is, for he regaled all those present with witty stories and anecdotes. All the guests present that night apparently could not get enough him.Suresh Agarwal said that Archer and him go back a long way. ���We meet very often when I���m in London ��� it���s our passion for cricket that brought us together,��� he said. Everybody present that night was thrilled to meet the author. Chhaya Momaya, Nisha Jamvwal, Remu and Naaz Zaveri, Esther and Raju Daswani, Asha Patel, Kishin Mulchandani, Anita Dongre, Javed Ahmed and Monica Vaziralli all had a gala time. Later, Kishin was seen in one of the other rooms taking part in an impromptu guitar jam session. A few words must be mentioned about the superb food, created to suit Archer���s palate, as he is known to be very fond of Indian food. By the time everyone left, most went with an autographed copy of his book!
