Small screen’s big b’day bashes
Kings, queens, telly stars, even a little pug made its way to television actor Umesh Yamgarrs Kings & Queens themed birthday bash the other night.
The guests abided with the dress code, with most of the women wearing gowns and practically all of them donning crowns and tiaras on their heads, courtesy the host giving them out at the party.
1x1 polls
The royal treatment started right at the entrance, with a welcome shot of a spirit in a long tube... and as the party rocked on, the spirits got higher and higher.
Huge cutouts of playing cards with kings and queens on them dotted the packed venue packed with all his friends from the industry. Saumya Tandon didnt look like a queen, but rather like a princess in her white dress and shimmering crown. Co-stars Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan were stuck to each other by the hip (however, ladies, queens do not wear short denim skirts!). Vikram Acharya was spotted after long, as was the tattooed Nitin Bali. Husband and wife Mohit Hussein and Chaavi Mittal were also present. Amongst the other royalty there were Mahesh Thakur, Vikas Sethi, Sudesh Berry, Gaurav Chopraa, who showed more cleavage than most of the women present, the ever-smiling Ashiesh Roy and Raakesh Pauul.
One More....
Pulsating music, a dance floor that never seemed to be empty, lots of chatter and fun and a special mango cake that was relished by all... this was a Kings treat to his fellow countrymen. Or should we say tellymen?
It seems to be the season of birthdays, especially in tellyworld, with actors adding candles to their cakes. Kapil Sharma too celebrated his turning a year older on Wednesday night... and it was time and reason again to party! Kapil was dressed in a bright green satin shirt and a velvet blue jacket, quite the colourful birthday boy. His guests were in tamer clothes, though. Bollywood actress Hazel was there, looking pretty in pink. Kulraj Randhawa stuck to the safest colour for a night out black. Also in black but more on the daring side was model Jennifer Mayani, showing ample cleavage, a bare back and long legs. Krishna experimented with a casual white jacket over a black ganjee. Whatever they wore, they all had a blast, afterall, clothes maketh a man, but fun maketh a party!
