There’s nothing like owning a set of super luxury wheels, isn’t it? And now there’s one more in your vanity list – the all new BMW 6 Series Convertible range – as it’s finally here.
A racy evening was hosted at the Lake Pichola in Udaipur recently to unveil this eye candy in the luxury car segment in India.
Highs & (f)lows: The car is inspired by the pure elegance of flowing water – ‘Inspirational Flow’.The fashion show, that preceded the launch, was based on this theme and aqua inspired garments were created by designer Suneet Varma. Donning these outfits, models Laxmi Rana, Michelle, Rachel, Tinu Verghese walked the ramp in style. The show also included a live performance by band Soul Yatra.

The elegant silhouette, torque engine, perfect road holding and refined interiors with perfection to the smallest detail, create an ultra-luxurious open-top driving experience that could not possibly get any better.” If the car wasn’t enough, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, who looked gorgeous in a white flowy outfit designed by Suneet, stole the show too. She walked the ramp with the models and unveiled the new range along with Andreas. When we asked Sonam about her interest in cars, she smiled and replied, “I have recently got a new BMW for myself. It’s a perfect vehicle for pleasure driving and a luxurious lifestyle.”
After-hours: A party was organised after the show, where guests were seen checking out the car and interacting with Andreas. We spotted Jaipur based socialite Jai Singh Rathore along with his politician friend VP Singh and his wife admiring the car neatly displayed at the venue.
