While Nitish Bhattacharjee stole eyeballs with his recent works, Sanjay Maroo stole everyone’s attention with his digital percussion performance. And as the guests were being entertained twice over, Vickram Sethi played the good host.
Wine and cheese and delicious munchies were interspersed with delightful conversations.Vickram spoke about how extraordinary works of art usually come from young, struggling artists while Chhaya Momaya and industrialist Vijay Tapadia were speaking about how ultra-luxury is speedily coming into India. Sanjay’s short but fabulous performance on the drums was spell-binding, with Chhaya shouting ‘Encore Encore’ at the end of the performance. Richard and Catherine Tan and Bose Krishna-machari were also present.
