Mock drill held ahead of Ganesh festival

The Nashik Police conducted a mock riot control drill, ahead of Ganpati festivities in the city. As the festival attracts a lot of enthusiasm, it also brings untoward incidences along with it. To manage these, the city police conducted the drill at Niligiri Park, where they held a meeting with Ganesh mandals from the area, and demonstrated how to respond to such events.They asked the mandals to demonstrate a fake brawl, and proposed ways in which it could be controlled and contained.
