Nashik students celebrate Women’s Day

Students of colleges across the city celebrated Women’s Day on Friday by organising various events. From get togethers to lectures, the colleges had rganised various programs. SMRK College marked the day by inaugurating the ‘Swayam Siddha’ camp, an initiative by the state government. Under this camp, women are given lessons in self-defence.
Wavare college organised a get together with students, their families and professors to celebrate the day over food and conversations.B V Joshi Maharashtra High School celebrated the day by felicitating their women professors. Other colleges in the city too organised different workshops and lectures to celebrate the day.
