It was hot and why not! After all Radio Mirchi was celebrating its first birthday in a different way.
A city-wide treasure hunt was launched to mark the occasion, and as Mirchi listeners traversed the length and breadth of the city to get clues, some managed to crack all of them. And these lucky ones got to participate at a smashing do, which was organised at a resort, a little away from the city.

Raag Agrawal, Station Head, Radio Mirchi, Nagpur, said, "The idea behind holding this party was to entertain our listeners in a manner which would take them through some adventure. As latest Bollywood songs were played and the RJs Soni, Yamini and Milind revved up the evening with their peppy comments, the young crowd went crazy, living up to the line "Mirchi sunne wale always khush".
RJ Soni's fans were seen clamouring for her autographs. Overwhelmed by the response of the crowd, Soni said, "The main objective to organise this party was to have fun with our listeners and surely it has happened".
When asked about the best part of being a RJ, she said, "Its when I am on air and having a fun time with the listeners". Manish Bagalkote, winner of treasure hunt, said, "It was a rocking party and I was excited to meet the RJs. I faced difficulty in decoding some clues, but I am thrilled to have finally cracked all of them and thus winning the hunt, he added.
