It’s that time of the year when the Garaba spirit is at its peak. We captured garba enthusiasts at an exciting evening organised by The Times of India in association with a prominent educational group of the city.
The event kick-started with an enthralling group performance of Dandiya and Garba on the song Dhol Baje Dhol. But what had added the element of fire to this party was the presence of actor, singer and dancer Rajeshwari Sachdev Badola which had the audience screaming in excitement.
And when Rajeshwari crooned Hulle Hullare Hulle- Hulle, the audience went berserk. The singer also sang the latest chartbuster hare Raam hare Raam which had the audience swaying and the energy of fun was to be seen to be believed. Adding another punch to this do was the latest song Soni de Nakhre by the singer which had the audience clapping with excitement. But what had made the event a complete success was the way it was managed by Shailendra Bhaduria and wife Surubhi.
Also spotted enjoying themselves to the hilt was legislature Salil Vishnoi with wife Rochana. Another garba performance of Shwetangana Verma and Tussar Gupta on the song Aadha hai Chandrama was also appreciated by one and all. Spotted engrossed in deep conversation were Archana Tiwari and Pratibha Mehra. Vanya Saxena and Manisha Nigam were seen munching snacks. Also present at the do was theatre personality Inderjit Sachdev, father of Rajeshwari, who was seen chatting with Salil Vishnoi.
