Padma Shri awardee Dr Vikas Mahatme was the chief guest at the do.
As he was introduced as somebody who has done 30,000 eye operations free of cost and then told to take up the dias, Mahatme jokingly said, 'Don shabd bolayla mhantla ki ghaam futto, don operation karayla kaahi watat nahi mala!'
