On a nostalgic trip!

Witnessing the bonhomie and camaraderie of ex-students of LAD, as they gathered under one roof to revive memories of their college days, this song came to mind.
There was an excitement in the air and the anticipation of getting a chance to meet old pals and teachers could be seen on each one’s face. Ex-students went on a nostalgic trip as teachers and in their formal and informal speeches, narrated few incidents some of them funny, some of them touching.
The students erupted into peals of laughter as one of the faculty members Professor Deshpande talked in a lighter vein, about how submission room of practical record books became 'Late submission room'. He said many of the students never submitted their records in time and how they were at the receiving end of their teacher's ire. Sneha Joshi, an architect, said "My college has played a major role in shaping my career. It is really nice to be here and catch up with your old friends and teachers. Such meets should be organised on a regular basis."
Principal Dr Panna Akhani, who was seen interacting with the teachers and students, said, "It is really good to see that students are in touch with their teachers and their institution. I hope they continue to do so." Later on, the students let their hair down and danced all evening in a jam session. Truly, it was a trip down memory lane and it was one that left many happy and a few of them soaked in memories.
