The royal folks of the City Palace had a fun time on Holi. With guests and friends all around, the royals had a gala bash – it was organised in the gardens of the palace.
There were water ballons, lac balls and colour filled pichkaris, and for those who wanted more, there was a pool of coloured water. “It’s time to forget all differences, be it age or class,” said Narendra Singh, as he went about applying gulaal on his friends.
After all the fun and frolic, there was gujiyas and thandai to feast on. “I love this festival and wait for it,” said
Nisha Singh, all smeared with colours.
Most of the guests chose to wear white to highlight the colour they got splashed with, but princess Diya Kumari, her husband Narendra Singh and their son Lakshyraj preferred to go for colourful attires. Devraj Singh and Vishvendra Singh were seen in all-white kurta-pyjama ensembles.
