Walking the Style mile

Talk about style statement and the ladies of Nagpur know how to put their best foot forward.
We saw this as the well-heeled of the city made their presence felt at a lifestyle exhibition. All those present went gaga over the wide range of couture collections and jewellery.
We caught up with Nikita Mhaisalkar who was checking out some classy of diamond necklaces.She said, "I am indeed spoilt for choice as I just couldn't decide which to pick up,��� adding with a laugh, "I am trying to call up my hubby to help me decide and he is not taking my call. Like other men he too finds any kind of shopping a tedious job!��� Ritu Nahar, who was accompanied with hubby Sanjiv, said, "I have seen many women opting for diamond jewellery with coloured stones. Obviously, it���s what���s in vogue this season. Looks like everyone wants to jazz up their wardrobe with the right kind of jewellery."
If coloured stones are in, green seemed to be the colour of the season as the exhibition had a lot of beautiful green coloured saris, lehengas and suits. We saw quite a few ladies buying the intricately designed green ethnic wear. Sonakshi Khurana was one of them. She said, ���I have a wedding to attend and thought this looks grand and classy too.��� With beautiful emerald jewellery on display, the women it seems would have no problem in getting jewellery to match their dress.
